Thimbles and Threads Hilton was founded in 1993 and has been growing and expanding ever since. We are in the heart of Hilton in the Lower Quarry.

Winter time we stock lovely fabric for those cold days and in Summer we have the latest summer fabrics all available at the best quality we can source.

Whatever you need for making clothing or curtains we will have it for you and if we don’t have it we will order it specially for you.

Every Quilter must come visit us, you will find exquisite 100% pure cotton quilting fabric from names like Moda, Da Gama and African Sky, but hurry it fly of the shelves and we never order the same piece twice.

All the big wool brands are available and we recently received our first Vinnis stock.

We have hand knitted Aran jerseys, smocked dresses, scarves, baby pullovers, cardigans and blankets in stock for those last minute baby shower shopping or gift for a overseas relative.
