Cape Jazz is Lekke! – Baxter Theatre

Cape Jazz is Lekke! – Baxter Theatre – Jonathan Rubain brings Cape Jazz to the Baxter this December with his biggest production yet! A celebration of Cape Town’s rich culture of Jazz and local ‘Ghoema’, Rubain will be joined by jazz greats such as Kyle Shepherd, Hilton Schilder, Allou April, Dave Ledbetter and Mandisi Dyantjies for a theatrical evening of music. Cape Jazz is Lekke! will pay homage to Jazz legends who have passed on and those carrying the sound today.

This production promises to be an unforgettable experience as the audience is transported through this carnival of the homegrown sounds of Cape Jazz by some of Cape Town’s finest jazz artists.
