Kwa-Zulu Natal’s biggest and oldest wine event, The Mercury Wine Week, this year celebrates 40 years of migrating the country’s premier wine estates from the Cape to Durban every winter. As a prelude to this momentous milestone, an exclusive food and wine pairing evening is to take place at The Big Easy Winebar & Grill by Ernie Els at the Hilton Hotel in Durban, on 28 June 2018, in celebration and to showcase the calibre of wines at the event.

EXCLUSIVE ERNIE ELS WINE & FOOD PAIRING EVENING

The evening which is limited to only 60 guests, includes a four-course dinner with which a selection of world-renowned Ernie Els wines will be paired and includes one ticket to The Mercury Wine Week.

The Mercury Wine Week 2018 takes place from Wednesday 29 to Friday 31 August, for the first time at Sibaya Casino and Entertainment Kingdom, offering Durban wine-lovers a smorgasbord of over 70 of the Cape’s top wine estates to sample.
